                      How to install Minecraft Data Packs

                      ATTENTION: This pack requires you play on the newest 1.17 snapshot (20w49a) or above.

                      This datapack enables you to build from y -256 all the way up to y 512.

                      Theoretically you could push the limits further, but I set these values since it was more stable and should work better on more PCs.

                      nope, I have corrupted chunks where I built a spire. Real bummer as it looked nice. I reopen the world and now it will not load :S.



                      (edited 1/6/2021): Looking back I am thinking the newer snapshot may have messed with it. But that is snapshots for you and with them there is always a chance to get corrupted worlds.

                      Hey, previously I saw other similar datapack, and the characteristics said that can (and will do) corrupto worlds, what about this can do it too?

                      Snapshot versions will always have a higher risk to worlds, and since this feature is very new, it may be unstable, however, in my experience, it has worked well.

                      Just make sure to have backups if you use this on an important world :)

                      If someone knows more then please correct any information I might have wrong.

                      But sadly there has to be a build limit at some point as the pc will not beable to render it as it has to do the work for every block including air blocks. This sadly would slow if not stop loading with higher values. Tho building at insane heights like 2k. Sadly won't be easy if even possible to do. I am just glad for +512 to -256.



                      in short higher the height the better your pc needs to be and even then it may not work.
