(This datapack requires you be on 1.17 or above)

This datapack enables a dynamic lighting effect when holding torches or other light sources.


By default, only torches and lanterns will emit light, however you can enable a load of other light sources by going into the `tick.mcfunction` file and removing the `#` symbol from the last line, note this may impact performance.

This is so dumb. The glow lechin is visible, and you can't even place/mine things with a torch in your hand.

this pack was made for a snapshot, I chose not to update it because there are better ones made by other people. you should use those.

1.17 added the light block (it produces light but is invisible) so you can use those instead of the glow lichen it also adds the ability to have variable light levels since you can have it glow from light then 0-15

It used to work really well, but I used it just now and it places this glow lichen block. Is there anyway to fix it?

yeah i cant put a light in my off-hand when mining because it will break the glow ;ichen and the item
