It seems Mojang has lost some recipes along the road, and I found them! ( Images coming soon)
This datapack adds recipes that have been left behind by Mojang such as the Enchanted Golden Apple recipe. I've also added some recipes, quality of life improvements, and unpackable blocks as well.
Recipes
Found: Enchanted Golden Apple - Crafted the same way it was back 1.8 with 8 golden blocks around an apple
Found: Saddle - The saddle is crafted by using 3 leather, two string, two tripwire hooks, and one iron nugget
New: Golden Horse Armor - Golden horse armor is crafted using leather horse armor and gold ingots.
New: Iron Horse Armor - Iron horse armor is made by combining leather horse armor and an iron ingot in a smithing table
New: Diamond Horse Armor - Diamond horse armor is made the same as iron however it uses golden horse armor and a diamond instead.
New: Name Tag - The name tag is crafted with a piece of paper, one string, and an iron nugget
New: Debug Stick - This one is a secret but I will give you a hint, Brewing Stand.
New: Bundle - Mojang keeps delaying this, when will it stop. Crafted with Rabbit hide
New: Azalea - This plant native to the lush caves biome in the 1.18 version of Minecraft is now crafted using 5 of any leaves (except for dark oak) and a dead bush.
New: Flowering Azalea Bush - Using a normal azalea bush you can craft this variant by using 4 spore blossoms surrounding the bush.
New: Spore Blossom - You can make the utterly stunning and excellent spore blossom by using any flower and a normal azalea bush!
Quality of Life improvements
You will now be able to smelt and blast raw ore blocks into their refined form this makes smelting that massive amount of raw materials you got much more compact. Also you will be able to cook raw iron and gold on a campfire into there refined nugget forms, kinda useless but I thought it should be added anyway.
Unpackable Blocks
Ice - You will now be able to unpack blue ice into 9 packed ice, and packed ice into 9 ice.
Wool - You can now take wool and turn it into 4 string
Nether Wart Block - It seems that Mojang is really insistent on making you go to a nether fortress to start potions, I made it so that if you find a nether wart block you can unpack it into 9 nether wart
Gravel - This isn't unpacking but you can take 9 flint and turn it into gravel.
FAQ
Can I use this on my server? : Yes
Will you add other unobtainable blocks? : No, the reason I added the debug stick was for people who like to build and they could use it as a "block" rotation wrench.
If you like my data-pack then consider giving me a diamond, and leave a suggestion for what next week's mod data-pack or resource pack should be.
