LP's Zombies

Note: The data pack will need to be unzipped.



"LP's Zombies" is a data pack that makes minecraft into a zombie apocalypses survival game.

This data pack will remove most hostile mobs from the game but it will make zombies super over powered. Zombies will be able to infect players, villagers, piglins and hoglins. If a mob/player is infected when it dies then it will become the zombie variant of that mob/player.

Zombies

Zombies have more health and do more damage. Over time zombies will mutate to have different traits such as regeneration, speed, slowness, jump boost, and explosiveness. Explosive zombies will explode when killed and leave the area covered in infectious gas.

New items

Instead of adding guns, like literally every other zombie apocalypse game, I decided to add new crossbows made with drop crafting recipes. I also added new potions (most added items will have attached advancements with descriptions on how to get/make said items).

The Cure

The recipe for the cure has three items that need to be dropped into a cauldron along with a bottle of infected water. The items needed are left to the players to find out. (Hints are at the bottom)

How to get bones, string, or gunpowder without skeletons, spiders, or creepers

Since there are few spiders and no creepers or skeletons, I added new ways to get items like string, bones, and gunpowder. Gunpowder can be crafted with four coal/charcoal and one clay ball, or one blaze dust and one clay ball. String can be crafted using three grass in a vertical line in the crafting table. Bones are now dropped by zombies, husks, and zombie villagers.
