    M2cs' Lightsabers datapack adds lightsabers into minecraft with a simple crafting recipe. An iron block, a beacon, an end crystal and a green/blue/red dye. Dropping them on the floor results in the lightsaber being crafted. There is also a darksaber that is stronger than the other three. It requires a beacon, an end crystal, a netherite block and a block of gilded blackstone.

    The resourcepack is required to make the lightsabers visible.

    The lightsabers instantly mines stone and also turns it into regular stone not cobblestone. It deals 15 attack damage, while holding it provides you
    5 armor points and sets mobs on fire. The lightsaber can be enchanted with mending and unbreaking to strenghten it's durability.

    can you make a weaker version with a easier crafting recipe? I was thinking like as strong as an axe with the pullback speed of a sword. I really like datapacks like this but I never get to the point here I have a beacon in any of my worlds

    I'm sorry but i fear no, the lightsabers datapack has only lightsabers in it. In the future i'm going to add more lightsabers with different strenghts but also crafting recipes. I might try to find a canon lightsaber that is very weak and add a weaker crafting recipe to it but currently i have no plans on adding a weaker version.
