This datapack is Midnight Creatures, my own spin on the One Command Creation of the same name by NightFang(made with permission, of course).

NightFang was one of the reasons i started messing with commands years ago, so getting permission to do this was very exciting!


To get started, build an altar by placing cobblestone walls around an obsidian block and topping those with redstone torches(shown in pictures), then name an animal to "Offering" and place them onto the altar, these are the following mobs that can be used as an offering(the mob does not change the result)

Pigs, Cows, Wolves, Cats and Sheep.


The mob will float into the air and eventually the Trader will spawn, he will sell you the eggs of Rao, the protector of the holy forest, and Zaog, the devil of the five worlds.

Rao once spawned will sell you different blessings, these blessings can only be bought once per Rao and used only once each , so use them wisely.


Zaog however, will not be so helpful, he is a bossfight with three attacks: Teleporting nearby players towards him, Summoning around 7 Magma cubes, and setting everything on fire. Killing him will grant 30 seconds of various buffs.
