GUYS IT WORKS FOR ME! JUST MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE 2 MODS AND MAKE SURE ITS 1.17.1 AND MAKE THE FABRIC 1.17.1!

Not working, although I install identity mod and fabric api.It's have click here to start after I do /reload, and it's working a little bit(I can change to mobs), but my skin is still the same and click k can't use mob powers...And it'll not transform me into another mob after 30 seconds.
Note: I use 1.16.5, and use this link to download it.And I use aternos open server(only play with friends, not public, have whitelist)

Oh not fabric(I install fabric at aternos)?AndI use optifine 1.16.5 to join the server, is this the problem?

I meant install fabric on your server and also use fabric launcher and not optifine [​you can use optifabric though]
