Players who build in survival can all agree that the trapdoor recipe is a huge waste. Only 2 trapdoors for 6 planks? Even the door recipe gives you 3, and its double the size of a trapdoor!
Following this logic, I've created a datapack that changes the trapdoor recipe to give you 6 trapdoors rather than 2. It is the same recipe, just with more trapdoors, and works for all wood types (including the nether woods) and iron.
This was my first datapack, so it is very simple, but it's definitely a needed change!

Hi! terribly sorry for taking 9 months to respond lol. Unfortunately I don't have plans to update this one since I don't really use it myself anymore and there's tons of other datapacks with the same premise.

Hi! Very sorry for the very late response. I'm not planning on updating this, but you could 100% update and post it yourself! It's a really basic premise so don't worry about credit or anything ^^
