I had a lot of hope for this datapack; it gave me a great first impression with the creepy night atmosphere and I was excited to try all that was promised.

That being said, functionality should be the most prioritized thing when making a datapack. I encountered too many major problems to the point in which it was unplayable, so it had to be a low score. I'll tell you what I came across:

• No matter how many monsters I killed, they never dropped the mushroom soul. It seemed that you even had the loot table ready inside the datapack so it should've been an easy fix to link it to the mobs
• Once I activated the altar, it seemed impossible to get the pig in the middle because it kept getting stuck on the candle. Even when I manually summoned one in the altar, it just got repelled.
• It was also difficult to figure out that the mobs only show up at night

I believe this datapack has a lot of great potential. The character designs are great and it's a cool concept. My advice when making a datapack is to do a lot of playtesting in survival mode to make sure everything is functional. You should also be more clear with the instructions. Your score would have been much much higher if it was properly tested and ready
