Installation:
1. download the datapack
2. place the .zip contents into your '.minecraft/saves/<world>/datapacks' folder
3. in your world, with cheats enabled, type /reload
I feel that Mojang has missed a great opportunity to include blaze rods into the netherite tools recipe. So i fixed this with a small data pack that just requires 1 blaze rod extra to make the tools. I also have a texture pack that changes the netherite tools to include the blaze rod textures, enjoy!
Note: the crafting recipe does not include any specific order to place the items in
