      For some idiotic reason, compasses point towards the world spawn instead of north, making them completely unless most of the time while exploring. If they pointed north, exploring would be more immersive, more fun, more sensible, and it would significantly reduce how much we look at the F3 menu.

      This datapack allows you to craft a north pointing compass, using a single normal compass placed into the crafting grid.

      The north compass only works in one dimension at a time, so if you see it spinning around, just drop it on the ground and the direction will reset to match the dimension you're in.

    One thing I will say is I dont think its stupid that compasses point to world spawn since new players or players who need to find their way back to spawn have a use for this and plus you can make Lodestone compasses which is also pretty handy..

    Now, however what is pretty stupid is that thinking about it there has not ever been a north pointing compass, its great for a proper sense of direction when you arent needing to go to spawn plus immersion.. ^u^

    Definitely love this and will be saving it for later.. ^u^
