Overhauled Crafting Minecraft Data Pack

This datapack was designed and tested for single-player only. Multiplayer may or may not function correctly.

A NEW EXPERIENCE

Overhauled Crafting aims to redefine what Minecraft is. Minecraft has been around for years, we all know and love the game, but sometimes vanilla just isn't enough. The modding community is one great example of the extreme feats we achieved. But what about making vanilla enhanced without all the extreme changes? That is where Overhauled Crafting comes in. There are over 100 new Crafting Recipes in Overhauled Crafting, so what are you waiting for?

Crafting Recipes
Copper Armor can now be crafted (armor recipe)
Glow Item Frame combined with an Ink Sac will yield a normal Item Frame
Flint and Steel can be made with a gold ingot and iron ingot now (shapeless)
You can make Iron Ingots by combining a Flint and Steel and Gold in a smithing table
Warped/Crimson planks can make oak boats (same recipe)
Blackstone can be smelted into Smooth Stone
Beacons can be crafted with crying obsidian and or obsidian
You can make Iron Tier tools/weapons to Diamond Tier by combining the iron tool with a diamond in the Smithing Table
Name tags can be crafted with 2 paper and 1 string (shapeless)
Suspicious Stew can be crafted with 1 mushroom stew and 1 warped fungi (shapeless)
Clocks can now be crafted with iron or gold
Redstone lamps can now be crafted either traditionally or with 4 glass (forming a plus) and 1 redstone dust in the middle
Sponges can be crafted with 8 yellow wool and a bucket in the middle
Tropical Fish can be cooked (turns to cooked cod)
Pufferfish can be cooked (turns to cooked cod)
Trapped Chests can be crafted with redstone and or tripwire
Scaffolding can be crafted with sticks and or bamboo
Chainmail Armor can be smithed by combining leather armor and 1 chain together in a smithing table

All recipes below are shapeless
Replaced the Creeper Banner Pattern recipe; now costs 1 paper, 1 sand, and 1 gunpowder
Replaced the Mojang Banner Pattern recipe; now costs 1 paper and 1 apple
Replaced the Skull Banner Pattern recipe; now costs 1 paper and 1 bone
Added the Globe Banner Pattern recipe; now costs 1 paper and 1 dirt
Added the Piglin Banner Pattern recipe; now costs 1 paper and 1 gold

Hello, I enjoy this plugin but I am having a problem, when someone joins the server they get every advancements.

That is odd! I never knew the datapack did this. I'm going to look into this and try and figure it out. I'll send you a site mail to keep you informed on any updates to this situation.

1. What Minecraft version are you playing on?
2. Do you have any other data packs and or plugins installed on the server?

The resourcepack is going to be split apart from OMC once version 3.0 releases, but you can find it here in the meantime. Do note though that this pack is not made for 1.18 yet. TheAndromedaCat

Does this require a special launcher to use or can it just be plugged into vanilla?

Nope! No special launcher. This is a 100% vanilla-compatible datapack that can go right into the datapack folder for your world. If you need a step by step tutorial, the wiki has a great one for you: https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Tutorials/Installing_a_data_pack#Singleplayer

Yes. You just need to delete any of the files in:
data > crafting > recipes or data > minecraft > recipes

The JSON files are named according to the recipes, just delete the JSON's you don't want. Then the recipes are gone. This applies to anything in the pack you don't want.
