PICKAXE DRILL!

In this datapack your pickaxe will get an extra ability.
DRILL.
When you hold your pickaxe in your OFF-HAND and HOLD SHIFT, you will dig straight down.
i know you aren't supposed to dig straight down, but we'll make an exception for this datapack right?
This drill-mechanic drills through bedrock and other unbreakable blocks, so... try not to drill all the way down and also try not to drill anything that you shouldn't drill :)
Now that I think about it, I shouldn't give you this power. It might be too op bruh.
Fall damage is turned off because you will drill faster than you fall.

The better your pickaxe is, the wider your hole will be. This is the list of how big your hole will be if you use that pickaxe.

Wooden Pickaxe: 1x1
Stone Pickaxe: 3x3
Golden Pickaxe and Iron Pickaxe: 5x5
Diamond Pickaxe: 7x7
Netherite Pickaxe: 9x9 (This can lag a little if you have a potato pc like me)

Good thought, but it seems a bit too op. While about half the community wouldn't care about that, a lot of people do.

I agree, but people don't use datapacks so they get an advantage. It's mostly to get more fun out of the game. But yes I may have made it too op. oops.
