Powdered snow is hard to get in 1.17. You have to craft tons of cauldrons and wait for it to snow. This data pack makes it easier by making powdered snow spawn high up in mountain peaks. Be careful, don't fall in and freeze when mountaineering. Leave a diamond and heart if you enjoy!

I have noticed that powder snow is generated within the mountains. Can you fix that?

No, the preview data pack features will not generate under mountain biomes if you try.

Can this be installed onto an existing world? (I would travel to a newly generate mountain, of course)
Or does this only work on new worlds?

Hey quick secondary question, since Minecraft mentioned it: What happens if I uninstall the datapack after loading a world with it? I imagine existing chunks will stay, but will that cause any kind of world generation weirdness afterward?

I think it will just generate new chunks without powdered snow, you should test it on a separate world first.
