Progresive Spawn Eggs - 1.13 - 1.18

Please Note:

I am not yet experienced in making data packs and I made this for my data pack server.
That being said I used https://crafting.thedestruc7i0n.ca/ to create this pack and the pack will keep its attributions in the data pack selection screen because of it.


When my friend asked me for a way to make spawn eggs I did not like many of the solutions avaivble. I thought that everything was either too expensive or too cheap and that all of the spawn eggs were essentially the same price .

Progressive Spawn Eggs fixes this issue by having "Tiers" of eggs. To go up a tier you need an egg from the previous teir. Each Tier costs more than the last for example Tier 1 eggs cost very little (pig, cow, rabbit, sheep, chicken, slime) Slime is the Main upgrade path for The next tiers, however, pig's are needed for creepers and hoglins. In the next tier not only do you need a slime egg but you also need the ingredients to transform that egg into the next mob.

Why is there an Iron_Golem.json?
If you look in the Datapack folder you will see a currently broken Iron Golem Spawner recipe. I need to fix that eventually. It will be crafted as a spawner since Iron Golem eggs do not exist anymore.


Are you going to add more eggs?
I am going to add more eggs, right now I added the essentials. my current plan is to add more tier 1's like fish and pandas.


How do I get a spawner?
I made this pack to be used with ICY's Mechanization where you can make a very expensive item called the spawner mover and then change it. This is only a crafting datapack so you can install another datapack if you are not running Mechanization to craft the spawner. I also have another pack to add a crafting recipe for the spawner.
