Have you ever pondered the notion that the progression in Minecraft lacks depth?

It is a common sentiment to hold. What I am trying to convey is that the mobs in the game never truly become more formidable or challenging. While you, as the player, can grow stronger and acquire better equipment and resources, the mobs remain stagnant. To address this issue and inject more excitement into vanilla Minecraft, I have developed a datapack. This datapack not only rectifies the aforementioned problem but also introduces two new bosses to the game, thereby enhancing its overall appeal.

Upon defeating the first boss, you will be rewarded with flint and steel. You may question the significance of this reward. Well, the crafting recipe for flint and steel has been removed from the game, making the boss the sole means of obtaining it and subsequently gaining access to the Nether. The rest, my friend, is for you to discover and unravel.

It's actually quite possible to enter the Nether without flint and steel. Not only do chests at ruined portals generate with Flint and Steel, as well as Fire Charges, you can sometimes use TNT to ignite the portal, or if that's too destructive, Lava and Wood.

I see... I am confident that I've disabled the fire tick completely, which prevents fire from spreading. However, I can double-check it again. Regarding the fire charge, I didn't consider that. I can simply create a mechanism that detects whether the player has entered hardmode or not, and if not, it will remove all fire charges from the inventory. In any case, thank you!
