Quantum Barrels makes it easy to transport items with a system that's similar to ender chests but with barrels. Use and ender pearl, any plank and two string to make a Barrel Quantizer and use it on top of two or more barrels with the same name.
DO NOT INCLUDE SPACES IN YOUR BARREL NAMES
The Quantizer only works on named barrels. If you're using with mouse tweaks, don't spam items into the barrels, wait a bit to put each item in.
The differences between my barrels and ender chests are:
1) multiple players can access the barrels
2) you can hopper items into and out of barrels
2b) don't try to hopper out an item twice that's in a superposition to duplicate it, I'm warning you
