Villager Names gives villagers their own randomized name.
The system has 20000+ possible names to choose from, so each villager should be unique and different!
+ Some of them can be from famous people (green),
or can be someone from Mojang!(yellow)
How well do you know them?
Villagers that turned into a Zombie will also keep their name.
Just so you know who met a terrible fate.
Works in Multiplayer!
Have fun!

Update - It's free now - I forgot to set Early Access so it remained locked for centuries : by TheDiamondPlayables 08/28/2021 10:45:51 amAug 28th, 2021
Ouch. Anyways, it's free now, nothing actually changed, it's a small mistake on my end thats all.

Is there a way I could hide the names of the villagers unless I look at the villager? (Just like how the names of animals are hidden unless looked at).
If there was a way to do this, that would be great as it gets freaky whenever you have a large village and there are nametags all over your screen.
Thanks!
Naming people cross countries is a thing
I'd need to do some research on before putting the update out.
is it possible to make it so that if they breed, the offspring will have the same last name as one of the parents?
I got the idea on how to make it work, but to make it work and somewhat make sense, I'm going to need to do lots of digging into how family names are decided in certain countries, and how they are decided cross-countries, then work on the special code cases based on the results of said digging.
(I got my ideas stored in text files so I won't forget these)
I don't think I need to answer this one.
If you're going to test it, I'd recommend having a backup ready in case things go wrong.
