Required Resource Pack
0
This Data Pack turns your night in a scary adventure.
If you have played A Plague Tale: Innocence you are familiar with these kind of rats.
They appear at night and try to hunt you down.
Your only chance of survival is light, but it doesn´t matter what kind of light source you use.
Once above light level 10 the rats can´t reach you.
So stay in the light and you will be fine.
You need optifine for the texturepack.
If you don't have optifine, don't use the texturepack.
The Rats will appear as silverfish, but the mechanics still work.
Feel free to comment your ideas to improve the pack and thoughts below.
(it´s my first one.)
Note:
This data pack will overwrite the appearance of silverfish but will not alter the behaviour of naturally spawning silverfish ore one´s that are spawned with a spawnegg.
In this folder you can change the light level on which the rats get repelled and
the maximum amount of rats that will spawn in your world.
data\rats\functions\main.mcfunction
execute as @e[type=minecraft:silverfish,scores={light=10..},tag=rat] at @s run function rats:teleport
execute if entity @a[gamemode=survival,scores={light=..9}] run execute if score rats count matches ..300 run function rats:summon
V1.0.1
- fixed wrong folder placement
V1.0
- rats spawn in survivalmode
- rats are afraid of light
- rats are spread across an area
