The Remove Pigman Data Pack for 1.13+
This Data Pack helps you in mass removing Zombie Pigmen from the Nether to free up the mob cap.
How To Add To Your World
1. Download the Data Pack
2. Navigate to the .minecraft folder on your computer
(Start Button + R, type %appdata%, press enter)
3. Open the saves folder and find the folder for the world you want to install the Data Pack
4. Open the world folder, then open the "datapacks" folder
5. Put the .zip you downloaded into this folder
6. Load the world (if it's already open, use /reload)
Servers
You need access to the world files on your server to be able to use this Data Pack.
The process for adding the pack your world on a server is generally the same.
Start at step 4 (above) and continue from there.
How to Install/Uninstall The Data Pack
Installing the Data Pack is as simple as running the function "rp:init", however you will need the permissions to use the function command (or OP) to run this.
Uninstalling the Data Pack is simple as well. Simply run "rp:uninstall" and that's it! (You also need the proper permissions to run this function too.)
How To Use The Data Pack
Using the pack is very simple.
To remove the Pigmen, use /trigger Pigman.
(This is shown in the message that appears when the pack is installed.)
When the trigger is used, all Pigmen in the Nether that do not have a custom name (this is to prevent Pigmen that players may have captured for decoration or other uses from being removed as well) will be teleported to 0 64 0 and killed, thus freeing up the mob cap.
You may have to run the trigger a few times to get the Pigman count low as they tend to spawn more immediately after the previous ones are removed.
