Level 60 : High Grandmaster Baconator

Sand and gravel used to hover above walls before update 1.12, and this datapack restores the old feature.

Now, all falling blocks can hover about 1/2 block above any type of fences and walls.

(Place the falling block 2 blocks above the fence to make it hover. Placing it directly on top of the fence lets you use it normally)

What a nice feature you brought back.. I used to make hidden quicksands in the desert with this glitch. Or sand canons. Good times

What do the armour stands for... I feel like it'd be easier to just check the falling sand entitiy's block underneath it and then tp it up by some ammount? so it hovers

That's a good question. I used armor stands because they hover above fences just like I wanted the sand to. I wanted the sand to remain perfectly still on top of the fence, so I take away its gravity and tp it to the armor stand instead of having it constantly bobbing up and down. I may be wrong but I think it is less laggy this way.

oh that's cool then... was just worried that the armourstands may lag out the world if you ahve to much of these falling sand fence things

By the way, I remember that this glitch even being so useful, was fixed because caused a beastly lag for some people caused by the accumulation of entities, so is there a way to put a limit in which the blocks are only drop?

I think the way I implemented it, lag should not be a problem. If there is lag let me know though
