This SurvivalModified Module introduces a custom despawn mechanism depending on the selected Render Distance.
I wrote this module because I do not use a render distance of 10 (I use 6, to be exact) and monsters on my servers tend to not despawn when leaving the area, and sometimes create mobswitches/ decrease mob spawns.

Note: This datapack breaks mobswitches. If you find a way to have a mobswitch with this datapack, let me know, as many could profit from that knowledge (in case they accidently create one) and I might have to fix that issue.

This module has a manual setup which will show up after /reload. It is important to always have the correct render distance noted in the setup, as otherwise too many monsters can spawn.
If you are using this in Single Player, please select your own Render Distance.
If you are using this on a Server, please select the Server Render Distance.
By default, Patrols are despawned like normal mobs.
You can change the settings by accessing /trigger sm_Help and clicking the [Setup] button next to the module's name.

Mobs are despawned if they either dont have a custom name or do not have their PersistenceRequired NBT set to 1b. Other SurvivalModified Modules make sure that they work with this despawn module.
For obvious reasons, mobs that usually don't despawn are not despawned by this module either. Examples are Shulkers, the Wither, the Ender Dragon, Evokers etc.
