Make sure to do /reload for the pack to work properly.
To become the Spot, walk into the path of a beacon's beam; before this though, you must have eaten a baked potato within the past half minute (substituting for the bagel from the film).
You will receive 9 spots throughout your inventory. Your abilities include the following:
1. Drop any spot from your inventory onto the ground to generate a portal, leading to another further in front of you. The depth and height of this portal can be altered by how far up or down you are looking vertically.
- Any entity can enter these spots, including liquids
- Spots disappear soon after something enters them, otherwise they disappear after 30 seconds
2. You can achieve more advanced forms of mobility with your spots, and that includes manipulating your direction. Put any spot in your offhand and jump from a high place. Once you gain enough falling momentum, a portal will automatically generate beneath you, while another is made further in front. Your momentum will be transferred from falling, to whichever direction your head is vertically facing once exiting the second portal.
- For an easier time reaching the ground, the player can tilt their head all the way down while having any spot in their offhand; once enough momentum is gained, a smaller and more controlled version of the mentioned move will activate, allowing for safe landing.
3. As the Spot, you have alternate ways of attacking besides teleporting yourself:
- While holding shift and looking at an enemy, put the first spot from your hotbar into your offhand. This will form a cluster of portals around said enemy, while a fourth is generated in front of you. Whenever you punch this fourth portal, your fist is sent through the cluster, damaging the target.
- While holding shift and looking at an enemy, put the second spot from your hotbar into your offhand. This will generate a portal above and below the target, causing them to infinitely fall until they disappear, to which they will take fall damage.
- While holding shift and looking at an enemy, put the third spot from your hotbar into your offhand. This will send out a portal projectile which teleports whatever it hits to a random, nearby position.
4. You can also teleport to a random, nearby position by tilting your head all the way down, holding shift, and putting any spot into your offhand.
5. As the Spot, you can also travel to the Spotted dimension by tilting your head all the way down, holding shift, and dropping any spot onto the ground. While in the Spotted dimension, you can hold shift to float around; you may also approach the many spots present there, and when entering them, you will be transported to a random dimension and location.
Any feedback is welcome, thank you.
