Stressful Difficulty 2.0 is HERE!

With a selection of soul-crushing difficulty enhancements, and a plethora of unbelievably powerful gear and tools that push Minecraft to the next level.

Dash, Sneak and High-Jump your way through a new environment packed with revamped, unforgiving monsters and unique treasures to be found.

But the odds aren't entirely not in your favor; a new Magic system will provide ample opportunity for you to strike back, and unleash an unimaginable offensive against the hordes. Mobs will quickly begin to literally fall apart as you slay them, and you can gather said remains into a stack that, once collected, will provide a temporary ability to further aid you in your quest.

And let's not forget the elusive Emerald Arrows, that can instantly transport you across chasms and cliffs when embedded in any side of an Emerald Block.

There's more to do, stronger creatures to fight, and everything to gain in Stressful Difficulty 2.0!

Pack includes two folders, installation instructions, and lists of features old and new.

I just made an account to say that this might be single-handedly making me enjoy Minecraft again. This + Minecarft is basically peak Minecraft IMO (that way minecarts remain very relevant due to their insane speed).

I'm not sure I understand the point of emerald arrows, though? Yeah, it can get you across a cliff, but you had to put the emerald block there first.

That is so amazing to hear, and it makes me beyond thrilled to know that you're enjoying my work. That was totally my intent, to make Minecraft a more challenging, fun and mechanically deep experience so, thank you for the kind words, it means a lot.

So yeah, for Emerald Arrows I couldn't actually write up a custom crafting recipe for it originally, I don't think the output supports NBTs so I had to come up with a clever work-around for that. One emerald block and spectral arrows isn't too steep of a requirement, it puts them firmly in the post-nether tier like a lot of the more powerful additions, but, they can be obtained pre-nether from Witches or a Villager trade. Being able to teleport you long distances is pretty powerful. Why specifically it ended up being that way though was happenstance, I'm sure I could've done it a million other ways, in terms of spawning them in.

PS. Also yes, you will need to place the blocks first to use them to traverse the world, but if I tried to make them work on every single block type, it would be near impossible. I'm definitely open to finding some form of re-tooling or overhaul, though! Emeralds have few uses as it is so I really wanted to make them something worth looking for.
