Trident Crafting

Overview:
This simple data pack adds a new element to the vanilla game of Minecraft: craft-able tridents! The highly rare weapon is now more feasible to achieve, but still requires some effort.

New Item:
The data pack introduces a new item into the game: the Trident Staff. Trident staffs require three prismarine shards to make, and placing them vertically in any column of the crafting table will result in one trident staff.

New Recipe:
Now, you may be wondering how to actually craft the trident. Look no further! The recipe is as follows:
  ➵ 2 Trident Staffs
  ➵ 3 Iron Ingots

Crafting:

/ = Trident Staff
⎚ = Iron Ingot

Final Notes:
This data pack should work on all versions from 1.13 to 1.17. It should also be compatible with single-player worlds, LAN worlds, servers, and beta testing worlds. IMPORTANT: you must have the resource pack installed in order to see the texture for the Trident Staff (it will appear as a firework star otherwise).
