    Recipe for a tier 1 turret is 1 observer block, 1 redstone block, 1 dispenser block, and 2 arrows.
    Recipe for a tier 2 turret is 1 tier 1 turret, 6 iron ingots, and 2 redstone.
    The item will look like a knowledge book on the crafting table, but as soon as you grab it you will have a turret.
    Place the turret and it will shoot almost any hostile entity within 16 blocks of it.
    Turret Craft is compatible with 1.16 to 1.17.
    Please notify me in the comments below of any errors and glitches you find when using this datapack.

    Notice: This datapack requires that you also use the resource pack. The resource pack download is directly below the datapack download. Also the packs do not need to be unzipped and can be directly placed inside the world and resource pack folders.

    Can be used in multiplayer but does NOT target other players.

    What if i use this in Minecolonies does this attack my village?

    Minecolonies is a mod right?
    I am unsure what it would do. The datapack might not even work in some mods. Also, the base Minecraft version must be either 1.16 or 1.17.

    If the datapack does work combined with a mod it should only attack the normal hostile vanilla mobs.

    You should be able to break them with any pic axe.
    You can probably break them with your fist too, but that would take a while.

    you should add ice turrets and fire turrets ! its great my favorite defense datapack of them all !

    Glad to hear that you liked it!
    I am already planning to add elemental type turrets, but it might be a few updates away.

    Right now I am working on adding more multiplayer adding functions to the datapack, which means changing a lot of the programming that is already there. So the 4.0 update is probably still a couple of months out from now.

    Glad to hear that you like it! I will be updating the datapack. I will be adding more turret types. more customization options, and maybe even some other content other than turrets. There is still lots I have to work on.

    I am on 1.16.5 and have put the given recipe in the video on the crafting table, and it isnt crafting anything. Did we have to unzip the .zip file or something?
