This datapack randomly selects a worldspawn size roughly every 60 minutes, with the initial roll occuring about a minute after world creation/installation
This datapack is designed so that your respawn distance is not predictable, You could be anywhere from 10k to 100k blocks away from the world spawn.
The way that this works is that it rolls for a chance for the worldspawn radius to change, each size having its own chance to succeed.
The lower distances have a higher chance, while higher distances have lower chances. the highest roll to have succeeded will be the one to stand for the next 60 minutes of your gameplay, and possibly for even longer, should there not be a successful change on the next roll.
10k has a 40% chance, 20k has 30%, 40K has 20%, 60k, has 10%, 80K has 5%, and finally 100k has a mere 1% chance to successfully roll.
If none of the rolls are successful, it will remain at the previous roll size, or even the default minecraft spawn size, if there has yet to be a successful roll at all.
This is designed for use alongside a datapack or mod that affects your respawn points, like a bed or respawn anchor. Worldspawn size ONLY affects you when you do not have a respawn point, so it is recommended to use some form of way to invalidate the bed. This was originally designed for use with https://www.planetminecraft.com/data-pack/unreliable-respawn/
It now has a custom version of this datapack included into it by default.
