  Hello, Link here! So, there are many mods that introduce upgradable tools to Minecraft, but not a way in Vanilla Minecraft, without the use of command blocks and cheats. Well, with the addition of data packs, you can have a regular survival playthrough with the added benefit of upgrading tools! Armor is not an upgradable feature yet, but I'm planning on doing it soon.




-How do you upgrade the tools?
          Well, depending on the value of the tool you want to upgrade you can craft them even without a crafting table!
The amount of items used can range from 2-4, Just tinker around with the amount of items used to craft an item to another.

I priced the amount of items used on how rare the ore is, not its usefulness. So upgrading will be more like this.

Diamond
Gold
Iron
Stone
Wood

Sorry, I've been busy w irl stuff... I'll update this sooner than later. Hopefully I can add a few more things and create a few fixes that ive heard of. Btw I lost my resource pack files so I couldnt tell yall the name of the pack. Sorry!
