Is regular Skyblock just too boring for you?
Well, this datapack may be just the thing for you then.
This datapack focuses around one main idea: Survival when the overworld is a singular bedrock block. All you need to do is simply create a new world with this datapack included, and your new challenge will be ready.
Everything available in vanilla survival can also be obtained here through the use of crafting, or scavenging.
In addition to replacing the entirety of the overworld with a void world, this datapack also overhauls nether generation. The nether has increased verticality, and smoothened generation. No new biomes were added to the nether, but the overworld consists of purely custom biomes.
The datapack includes several custom advancements that can be seen in the regular advancement menu. These provide both unique challenges, and some guidance on what to do. It also includes custom Wandering Trader trades (that aren't randomized like vanilla ones), and some changes to loot tables of mobs such as the Illusioner. Plenty of custom crafting recipes are available to allow acquiring of blocks normally found through mining in the Overworld.
Important Notice: This datapack will likely not work properly if applied to a world after creation. Ensure you add it to the world during the creation process. It is intended for 1.19 versions of Minecraft.
If you want to use this datapack in any projects, such as a large server or collection of datapacks, I'd prefer if you ask for my permission first.

Walkthrough for Progression
Unlike in vanilla Minecraft, you will not die when you jump into the void. Therefore, your goal at the start is to simply fall off the bedrock block, and into The End. From here, your goal is simple: kill the Ender Dragon. The crystals can be destroyed with ender pearls to reduce their knockback and damage. Once you've done that, your next goal is to get a pickaxe from an end city.
Your next step after acquiring a pickaxe is to mine any blocks you can, and expand the overworld. Preferably, you will want to expand North so you can reach the Dark Void biome quickest. The Dark Void biome is special for many reasons, but currently, it's primary benefit will be the Illusioner mob that spawns in it. The Illusioner drops Amethyst Shards, which can be used as a currency for the Wandering Trader.
The Wandering Trader offers a few things, but only one is crucial for your progression. To get further, you will need to buy Moss Blocks from the Wandering Trader, which are sold at a rate of 4 Amethyst Shards for 2 Moss Blocks. You can use bone meal on the moss blocks to get Azaleas, which can then have more bone meal applied to them to grow into trees. This will give you an endless source of wood.
After getting wood, your goal is to go to The Nether. Obsidian for its frame can be obtained from the pillars in The End. However, there is a slight issue in the form of lighting the portal. Usually, you can do it with a flint and steel, but now you'll have to do it with a lightning bolt. Drowned drop copper ingots, which can be crafted into a lightning rod that directs any nearby lightning towards itself. Drowned can spawn in either waters of the Raptured Void, or from a drowned Zombie. Water can be obtained during rain in a cauldron.
After you've reached The Nether, your one last goal is to get lava. After this point, you can make a cobblestone generator, and the progression of your playthrough becomes purely based on your own goals. Several advancements exist to aid in providing goals for this later-game progression.

I tried angling myself to punch the ender dragon on entering the end and it might be possible but the timing would be nearly if not tick perfect. I had no ender pearls and had no way of getting more. So being flung into the sky was a death sentence even if I landed on a pillar.
I solved this by entering creative mode. But its a softlock otherwise.
Glad to hear it though. This datapack looks interesting. Currently building my way down to the bottom of the world to make a pathfinding mob farm. I haven't had a trader yet, so I am repeatedly falling down and placing blocks.
Also, I am aware of the dragon perching causing some issues and will change the end spawn location to avoid softlocks in an update.
