Spirits DP brings Summoner mechanics into your Minecraft world.
This datapack does not work without WHCF Core
Now you can summon your own spirits, who can fight by your side, heal you and protect you from danger.
In this version you can summon these spirits:
Life Spirit
This spirit doesn't have HP or Mana. Instead this guy has Life energy, which is both HP and Mana at the same time.
If you receive any damage he can quickly patch you up - but watch out, if he reaches 10% energy - he will die. Be careful, managing your buddy’s energy is important!
To get this spirit you need to buy a Life spirit staff from the Cleric Master Villager.
With this staff you can switch between waiting, healing and target selection mode.
(Don’t forget to read the controls in the staff’s description)
Healing:spend life energy to heal yourself or your target. If you have less than 20% hp he can rapidly patch you up for more than half of his life energy. If you have 50% or more hp he goes into saving mode, slowly regenerating your health without risking his own life
Protector Spirit
This guy has the same Life energy mechanics as the Life spirit.
To get this spirit you need get a Protector spirit staff from a Wither Skeleton Summoner, who spawns in the Nether fortress.
With this staff you can switch between waiting, healing and target selection mode.

Protection: This tough guy’s life energy is spent to give you Resistance II, also he gives you fire resistance if you are burning alive
Lightning Spirit
This spirit has classic mechanics with separate Hp and mana.
To get this spirit you need get a Lightning spirit staff from a Skeleton Storm Summoner, who rarely spawns during thunder
With this staff you can turn on waiting mode, and use Lightning storm skill. Oh, he also passively attacks your enemies without spending mana.

Lightning storm: Summons lightning bolts which damage enemies in a 16 block radius. Spends 10 mana to use this skill and 33 for every enemy it hits
Summoner's mask
Drops from all summoner enemies with 10% chance.
Allows you to summon three spirits at once
If you want to unsummon a spirit, hold crouch button and hit the spirit with corresponding staff

I've tried with and without optifine but if will always only show the name tag of the spirit but not itself.
I installed the core datapack but somehow the resource pack doesnt work.
I tried in on 1.16.4, 1.16.2 and 1.16 but it just wouldnt work.
there are not a lot of data packs like it.
I think a few problems I've noticed so far, are with the Life Spirit and
Protector Spirit. They will occasionally "merge" into your head blocking 1st person
point of view.
For the Lightning spirit, it's awesome! It's attacks are pretty cool,
and the work put into the models and textures for this pack are phenomenal!
