Would You Rather v2.3.0
Every 120 seconds the game stops you and asks: would you rather... A, or B? You pick one from chat (or from a menu, on newer versions), you get 15 seconds to decide, and whatever you choose happens to you. There are 32 outcomes for you to face. If you do not answer in time, the game answers for you.
Install: drop the zip into your world's "datapacks" folder and run /reload. That is it - no setup, no other packs needed.
Works on Minecraft 1.21 all the way through 26.3. On 1.21.6 and up the two options open as a proper button menu with tooltips instead of clickable chat lines; on older versions you click the option in chat.
Got an idea for an outcome? Leave it in the comments.
Notes:
- /function would_you_rather:settings opens the settings menu: change the question timer, change the answer timer, enable or disable the pack.
- Both timers are set in SECONDS.
- While an outcome is running, the time it has left is shown above your hotbar.
- /function would_you_rather:uninstall removes everything the pack added.
- TESTED FOR SINGLE PLAYER (MAY HAVE UNINTENDED BEHAVIOR IN MULTIPLAYER)
CHANGELOG:
- v2.3.0: Compatibility with 26.3 and balance changes.
- v2.2.1: Bug fixes (actually playable now).
- v2.2.0: Three new outcomes and a timer showing how long an outcome has left.
