This combat system will display combat levels for all entities capable of combat, so things like armor stands won't display a level.
If you've ever wondered what your stats are compared to an enemy you'll face, such as a wither skeleton or even the ender dragon, now you will know! This combat system calculates every single data that is based on combat attributes, things like movement speed, attack speed, status effects like haste, regeneration, fire resistance, all of them. It takes all of that and adds it together and gives you a combat level of yourself, other players, and all mobs that currently exist in the world.
This will not erase any custom mob names you have for your world, it takes the currently existing names and adds the level next to it, and as for mobs without names, it will simply add the name of what entity it is and then display the combat level. Don't worry though, this won't change the player's name.
To see the current combat of your person, simply use the trigger command /trigger see_combat_level. Type it again to stop the scoreboard from displaying the combat levels of players.
I tried my best to have the base combat level of a max player in survival (full enchanted netherite) to be around level 100. If you reach above 100, you probably have potion effects or have custom armor that goes beyond default survival.
I'm currently working on the stats card to allow you to see your combat level on there with the fractions, so do expect to see that datapack getting an update in the near future.

If you were to give yourself the strength effect, you would notice your combat rising. This does not improve your stats, only displays them in a different method.
