A Spear is a very unappreciated historical weapon. So to have that in the game would be awesome!

cave they need to be updated mabye even have a cave troll boss in there.

After Caves, I would definitely like to see some wild, expansive, New-Dimension type stuff.
But there's probably some existing content I'd like to see updated first.
Most importantly, terrain generation, which is in a pretty poor state atm. In tandem with that, updating biomes, many of which are really neglected and just not fun to explore. The biome vote events are a start, but I wanna see, like, 10 times that.
The End Dimension is also a little lackluster compared to how developed the Nether will be after 1.16, so that should be updated too

Here's my view on all these proposals. I'm not saying they're bad, it's just my opinion.
- Chest boats and frogs are coming soon
- Spears are unnecessary because of tridents
- Death chests are unnecessary because of '/gamerule keepinventory true' and if you are saying death chests should work with achievements that is defeating the entire point of surviving and therefore changes the game entirely
- New bosses would be pretty welcome, especially one for the nether update, as long as they don't come from a new dimension
- There shouldn't be a new dimension because they should improve the current dimensions instead of adding new ones as it completely changes the game's progression otherwise
- Cannons would feel too modded
- Space pretty much has the same argument as the dimensions one
- Cave update... ok fine. Yes we do need a cave update, but we can wait if it means that we get the best update to caves possible without making the game feel modded

Space is actually much more time consuming to make than a cave update.
The cave update should be brought first since caves need a bit more spice to them, but space would be untouched, because ingame tech isn't the 2000s

With the death chests, when you die, all your stuff is in a chest that’s a bit more green than a normal chest

all of those items are possible to get within 10 minutes of starting the game, or 20 if you're unlucky. Really any item you can get pretty quickly, meaning that a deathchest would be way too op, because you basically are unable to lose your items pretty much at the start of any world.
