I see your shading skills are starting to become better:).The next step is light and shadow, then backgrounds, then detail, and before you know it you are a superb artist!
for shadows, start with a simple black oval somewhere underneath your figure, on a separate (Transparent) layer. then, apply a strong blur to it (I suggest gaussian blur at 6 or higher), while having only the oval selected. that will add a great amount of depth to your pictures, and make them even better than they are now.

If your using GIMP, I suggest you use paths to create non-pixely lines
+1 for anti aliasing. (It's crucial man!)

If you want feedback I'll tell you that: Its good, however, it would do a great bit of help to this art if you turned of anti-aliasing. PLEASE!
while it's nice, artwork is more than getting a skin, going to novaskin, putting it in a pose and tracing over the lines and color picking and fill.

No, I agree. It takes surprising skill, even with a pen tool, to build a scene. The last one I built, though, I had to trace somebody's skin for:

Yes i'm tracing and learning how to draw by hand at same. Don't think i'm a N00B, because not everyone can trace good. Everybody is learning.

Yeah, agree with the pixelated lines. If you use Corel or Photoshop you can just turn on anti aliasing or some sort of smooth option. And if you use MS Paint, then great job! --> Despite MS Paint not really being suitable for drawing anything.

I use Gimp for all of my graphics as well, you can go to turn on Anti-Aliasing at the options box that appears when you turn on a tool.

Everything is nice apart from the pixelated lines, Im not sure how you would fix that. ad make the skins on a white background, so people an add there own backgrounds to it.
