The Actual image has transparency, just added the background to make it look nice in a wallpaper kind of style.
To get that effect you need Photoshop Cs6 Extended, convert the text to a 3D layer then it's basic 3D texturing to get the desired effect. Really simple to be honest, took me 20 minutes to pick it up!

Logo? Why does it have a background that big if it is a logo?
