Hello, I was wondering what is a good program for creating Pixel art?

Yeah...Um, the GIMP UI is completely customisable...
You can choose exactly what is where or even is it's there at all, in both single and multiple window mode...
Really, the main thing that always bothered me with GIMP is how there's two windows, one for tools and another for the actual editing... I don't know how to change that.

I really dislike GIMP's layout, and I used to use Game Maker... long story short, Game Maker has a pretty good sprite editor. It also lets me manage and save multiple images at once, so it's pretty decent for just sprite editing alone.

If you're on a mac (which you probably aren't lol), Pixen is a great program. It's specifically designed for pixel artists.
