On Chaos Craft, my favourite server, I am building a base for my faction. I want it to be made out of obsidian, and have at least enough room for the necessities (such as a Storage Room, a Living Room, and maybe an XP farm?
I would like YOU to recommend a good, large dimension for the base, maybe some other rooms, and other recommendations.

Lava is a good idea, but what happens if you lose that armor?
Make it hidian. Under a lava pool, and give your faction members fire prot. armor. Obisidian sounds good, Here is a quick design for you

Obsidian!? Are you crazy! You can make the thing out of sugarcane if you want, the important thing is to HIDE it! Why not make the entrance under a lake? Dig to bedrock and disguise your base (in the event of some twerk-wad and an X-Ray mod). Take things like covering chests with ores (using a Silk Touch pick). Rooms should include storage,a farm, living quarters, kitchen and so-on.booby-traps are a good idea too, ESPECIALLY in the storage rooms. I could show you a trick or two if you want!
