Biomes!
Hi everyone, I'm making and 10,000x10,000 mc map, but here is the problem.
what kind of biomes can i make in it!?
because I can't think of any other than the usual mc biomes
(desert/Mesa, jungle, forest, mountains, cold biomes)
I hoped you guys can help me.
so, if you know a biome I can make in my map leave it behind please

- A dense tree forest in a plains biome
- Frozen Jungle
- Mountain biome
- Frozen beach with deep snow and palm trees
- Volcano
- A sand biome with trees everywhere
- Lava biome, the land is made of cobblestone and stone or anything of the sort and there are lakes and oceans of lava
- Frozen lava biome. (Lava mixed with ice and snow)
- Hell on earth (nether terrain in overworld)
- Flower field, open land with a small amount of trees but flowers everywhere, mainly tulips.
- Frozen Jungle
- Mountain biome
- Frozen beach with deep snow and palm trees
- Volcano
- A sand biome with trees everywhere
- Lava biome, the land is made of cobblestone and stone or anything of the sort and there are lakes and oceans of lava
- Frozen lava biome. (Lava mixed with ice and snow)
- Hell on earth (nether terrain in overworld)
- Flower field, open land with a small amount of trees but flowers everywhere, mainly tulips.
This are some strange biomes...
Frozenjungle? It isn't an ice age in my map, but i will make it in an other map since i like
the idea (same for the palm snow beach)
I already have a lot of mountains and a big mountain range in the middle of the map
Vulcano will come near the jungle islands
I like the frozen vulcano biome, i will make an antartic biome as well so i might put it there

Trees don't grow on sand.... So.... No, that isn't comming in the map, it's funny but a bit strange
I won't make a flower field, if you go to the forest or moor or swamp or marsh, there are flowers really everywher, so i think there are already enough flowers in the map.
Hell on earth, i will try make a custom nether as well and i don't like the nether biomes in mods or other maps so much so i'am not gona make that, sorry

how about a spider biome? (Everything dark, spider egg pods, trees are mostly dead, and have cobwebs, etc. )
That sounds like a good idea if done correctly. May I also suggest a canyon biome? That would be cool.

I can't make a archipelago in worldpainter very easily (almost inpossible because worldpainter doesn't allow you to place trees under the surface of the water. it will place them ontop of the water, like they are floating. so irritating!)
but because you asked me i'm gona try to make it in game
(so it will be the last biome that will be added)

i have already a canyon thingy, it's in a clay wasteland. in that biome (it's above the desert near the coast painted red brown) i have made a labyrinth where you can walk around. it's a kinda western canyon thingy
i will give a map download this weekend if it's all work out nicely
at last i like to ask you guys if you know any nice strucures i can build in the map if it is finisht.
i'm going to make it into a RPG map (i will give the environment as an extra map, without the city's and things)
so... yeah, if you know any good things i can make like a logging camp or mabe somecastle like stuff. i will try too add that in the map too.

DCK, if you use worldpainter, I also suggest you use MCEdit. Just to make, making caverns a lot easier.
I'm not sure but i think it doesn't worl on an apple computer

Yes sounds good. Massive fir trees with mushrooms should look good. I'm Experimenting with it myself now

zombie island XD with either a bunch of edited in zombie dungeons or 1 or more zombie spawner(s) on land XD
If you're looking for realism, maybe an oasis? Or some kind of podzoly wasteland with dead bushes!
If not, Candyland! Do it xD Or maybe an ocean with a sunken city (1.8 ideas woo)

Maybe a cavern biome with lots of caverns with jungles or overgrowth inside them?
There are caverns in the map when i finish it, but i like your idea.
One problem. i use worldpainter so i don't know if it is possible to do it with that.

Maybe like a cloud biome with blocks as clouds in the sky where you can somehow get up there and mine... cloudy stuff and like water particles and stuff.
I don't use mods and i can't code java...

Vulcanic Desert, Vulcano Island, Mystical Forest, Dark woods, Desert full of bones, Tropical island/forest (aka jungle), Rainbow mountains, Huge Swamp and a vulcanic wasteland (something like the desert but with more structures)

im already building a snow biome with candy trees on singleplayer
lol, but it isn't really something for my map :p
You could make some canyonlands, tropics, bayous, wetlands/ marshlands, archipelago, bogs, grovelands, and a desert oasis. Hope those help give you some ideas of what to do.

Wasteland?
A fantasy biome would be cool

I already checked some rpg maps and i have looked on the internet for biomes that i can make.

Plains, Mushroom Biome, maybe make some cliffs and add variety to the biomes.
