Fation Base Design
I was wondering if any of you had a good base design or tips such as how to build a gravity wall, and hybrid defenses.

I am not much on base designing, but I can give you a few tips. Also I don't think you can build a gravity wall with out command blocks.
1. Always have 2 back up exits. One obvious and one secret, don't ask why, its hard to explain, I just know.
2. Build it underground, leave no trace of how you got there, block off any cave systems or holes near your base so no one accidentally discovers your base making it an easy raid.
3. Traps
- Piston traps. This is hard to explain, so I will try my best.
Make an iron door, with a pressure plate on the outside, but none on the inside, make a chest, and don't label it, never label your chests, color code them, so the enemies won't know what chest your diamonds are in, which can give you a key advantage. After that, make a pressure plate which connects to a piston which retracts the blocks infront of him making him fall in to a hole. (Preferably lava)
- Make a trip wire dart dispenser.
- Have a pack of wolves, they always come in handy.

4. Make your base deep underground, and when I say deep, I mean a few blocks above bedrock. If you base isn't very deep, people on the surface might see name tags inside your base, which isn't good.
5. Keep your chests in a secret place. My suggestion is make the floor wool, and color code the places with chests. For example, your floor is red, blue, green, yellow, orange, purple, cyan, and 1 black. Under the black wool, is a room. Break the black wool, go in and block it off, making it almost impossible to be found. Now if someone does find it, thats why you have your color coded chests.
