I need help with some commands. It's if the player is standing on a bamboo pressure plate, it will turn into an activated cherry pressure plate. But if the player is not on that cherry pressure plate it will turn into a bamboo pressure plate right away.

pretty sure pressed pressure plates have a nbt tag for it, try standing on top of one and doing f3 + i (i think it was that to copy the nbt) and place a repeating command block with this (i think, sorry if i messed up it's midnight in here)
execute if block {insert block coordinates} bamboo_pressure_plate{type the nbt tag here] run setblock cherry_pressure_plate
(sorry if something ain't right!)
and another one saying this:
execute if block {insert block coordinates} cherry_pressure_plate{insert that same nbt tag but instead of true put false) run setblock bamboo_pressure_plate
