Idea.
Hey guys, RollerdinoGaming here.
I had a little idea: to make Ingress in minecraft! For the ones of you who don't know what Ingress is, here is the official site: http://www.ingress.com
So what I thought of was just a regular world, but you have a special item in your inventory that, if you right-click it, will take you to the Ingress dimension, where you can do everything that is possible in the app.
Please tell me what you guys think of this idea below!

It'd be pretty cool, but you're thinking it wrong. Ingress isn't a dimension, it's the actual app. These portals don't take you to an alternate "physical" world, but yes energy. A good way of doing this is being to craft a phone or a device, the go around with it trying to find "Portals". If it worked, it'd be awesome for multiplayer.
I know, that way it is kinda hard to realise though. It is also not the meaning you go to the dimensoin through portals, but more like you are in the regular world, and when you use the item, you would see what you see in the app.
*EDIT: I want to do this in vanilla, so no crafting phones either (unfortunately)
