Map-Making Tips
Hi, I'm diamondhunter996. I really want to make a good map, but I don't know where to start. I tried some tutorials about map-making, but they all say redstone, which I'm not very good at. So can somebody please give me some tips? Any advice is appreciated.

For making terrain/buildings:
I would first recommend looking up worldpainter, use the program, know the program, love the program.
Worldedit is a useful program for copy-pasting blocks, making perfect circles, and such.
(there are tons of Worldedit and Worldpainter tutorials out there.)
For adventure map making purposes:
MCEdit is necessary to have under your belt.
Dragnoz is a youtuber with amazing redstone tuts.

First off, what type of map are you making/want to make? Good tips and advice can vary a lot based on this. Just some examples of types of maps are survival, adventure, mini-game, CTM, puzzle, parkour, ect....
