Melbourne, Australia 1:1 scale

Hey guys. I am going to make the city of Melbourne Australia, 1:1 scale.
Sounds like a huge project, yes it is.
The CBD is approximately 2.5km x 3.0 km. The whole city of Melbourne within the areas I'm going to make is approximately 45km x 30km. (1 block = 1 metre)

I think this is one of the few minecraft scale models of a whole city.
Why Melbourne? I just love this city. I don't live here myself, but I'am going to study there next year.

Originally i was going to make Sydney. Imo the most beautiful city on earth. But when I was building it seemed the terrain and the crooked streets were a project killer, it just wasnt going to look nice. Melbourne however is by far easier to make imo.
