Wow that is really cool. I'm always looking for new ideas. I'm waiting to get into serious building because the update is coming out in may but this would be a really neat idea. Nice work!
Use ice instead of green wool and you'll be able to have a slippery floor and use a dropping snowball as a golf ball.
Looks cool, instead of the light green wool you could use grass but with worldedit use //setbiome jungle in those regions to make the grass appear lighter than other regions.
Might just be me, but it looks like he's on one of those Creative Public Servers, and they probably wouldn't let players use World Edit because its really over powered and can lag alot.
Anyway nice build, looks really nice I made something similar ages ago, where you rolled a snow ball across ice and if you got it into the hole it dropped onto a pressure plate and opened the door to the next course. Maybe you could do something like that if you haven't already. But not with doors coz I think that would look bad on yours.
