Hello so the infos :

2. The excavation sould look like (some examples):

So it feels like it has beed duged up all the stuff above it, maybe some temporary tents to house tools(shovel,pick,....)
3. The glowstone and wool walls are ment to be as a damm to keep the water out of the exavation site
4. The hill next to the nether portal is ment to have a building off some sort like a excavation housing/laboratoy for the workers.
