We all know that in order to make a PMC map, you first have to build the structure you want to upload and put it on PMC for thousands of downloads, but what if you didnt have to launch minecraft and build the structure? what if PMC had software built in that lets you make maps like making a skin? it would be more efficient than ever! i present to you, my: PMC map.. maker..
The Layout
The custom map provided would be grass blocks, 25 X 25, that can be changed into any block, and i mean ANY block. there would be an option to make those blocks any color you wanted but we will get into that later.
the custom map we'll call: custom grid.
Model: square, triange, circle, trapezoid, hexagon, and custoom shape
base color (free)
Block Name: (OR ENTER BLOCK ID)
CREATE
next, you get the custom grid. the grid can be sizable to about, 100? 250? idk, what does a site moderator think?
then on the bottom, you will see the minecraft inventory but with your custom block. you can place by left clicking and destroy by right clicking, but if you highlight, or select any chosen block, you can destroy them!
The maps
this system will make PMC map making very very very efficient for many users. instead of downloading the map off your minecraft world you can just Publish To PMC! its really simple.
Rules
Yes, there are rules! every map will be moderated before published. any map that violates the rules (rules made up along the way) will be sent to permanent draft status and can only be published by a site moderator.
Custom Colors
custom block colors (except for the custom grid) is not free. it would cost money. why? because not only would you need the custom colors, you would need a mod that allows that specific block to have that color.
