it's screen is on a map. It's 40x40 pixels big and can render up to 15 colors.
It's able to automatically move your pieces, summon pieces, promote your pawns (every valid choice), reset it to default setup and empty it's board
and there's a little easteregg in it (it's also in the video)

Jmal there's no anti-cheat system. However it can promote on his own and the special moves are also gonna have to be done with your hand. Look in the video for more info

The only time I've tried to build something like this it's turned out pretty huge and I ended up giving up because I just tried to smush too much stuff in there. Is there any logic for the different piece movements, or is it essentially up to the players to just not cheat? Either way it's super cool that someone actually managed to finish one of these

Y'know, i always found these specific redstone things sort of impressive, even if its really demanding on the pc... and extremely complex
reminds me of thag project someone was workinG on to build a playable pokemon red in game from scratch using command blocks, redstone and maps
