i am making a map and want it so it you touch water, you return to your spawn point. I was wondering how you do that as i have seen it on many mini-games i have played.

or set a scoreboard for distance swam
lets call it GAB
testfor @p[score_GAB_min=1]
Another command block
tp @p[score_GAB_min=1] X Y Z
Another Command Block
scoreboard players set @a[score_GAB_min=1] GAB 0
lets call it GAB
