Custom Data block?

I have checked out videos and websites but I can't find anything that answered my question
"Is it possible to create your own Data Block info"



For example in game you can use

"elytra" or "sentry"

and it will put specific entities in the world at the location of the data block



But I want to know if I can edit or create those values
