I need help with MC Edit. So I saw Sethbling change the duration that items disappear after in Super Craft Brothers, could someone tell me how he did that?

There's a NBT editor filter, not by sethbling but it can help you with this. If you use the filter on a dropped item there's a line at the top that says "Age". Items despawn after 5 minutes which is 6000 ingame ticks.
Say you want the item to despawn after 30 sec you do 30*20 which is 600 then you set the age to 6000-600=5400
Say you want the item to despawn after 30 sec you do 30*20 which is 600 then you set the age to 6000-600=5400
I've looked through all of Sethblings filters, and one has the ability of changing entity's, but nothing I try works!
It's probably a filter, but beyond that I can't help you, sorry. Try Googling his MCEdit filters, see if he has it available for download.
